NON-PROFIT

SAMPLE 1

A national organization just celebrating its tenth anniversary was on the brink of collapse due to its own success. In meetings with the Chair of the Board over a 6-month period, organization was achieved from a somewhat chaotic, seat-of-the-pants management style that had taken them this far.

A local advisory board that was large and under-performing was dissolved and a new, smaller, active, involved and accountable board was established providing needed funding, programming and membership drive assistance.

A new organizational chart was designed to better serve the current and future needs of the organization, more clearly defining the roles of current staff and identifying staffing needs to be met as growth and funding warrant.

Technological solutions addressed communication issues, bringing staff on each coast together to eliminate duplication of effort and drawn on the knowledge available throughout the organization.

SAMPLE 2

A credit union used us to conduct customer service training for its staff. This annual program has enhanced morale and productivity among staff, reduced turnover in this very busy office and garnered kudos from many members who have "shopped around" and stayed with them because of their level of service.

SAMPLE 3

A well-established chapter of a venerable organization was in the process of transitioning from its previous way of operating into a more updated and vital one. IFWI was asked to facilitate their Board Retreat to continue the transition. Several otherwise intractable issues were raised during this meeting and resolved with speed and a common desire to move forward. Respect for the past was kept while moving into the future.

SAMPLE 4

The Executive Director of this multi-faceted service provider for children was faced with losing a significant percentage of its funding with the loss of one specific government contract. As well as wanting to replace funding to this previous level, the Executive Director wanted to put in place funding that would not threaten services.

In developing options not previously thought of, an endowment was created that more than covered the needed funding and a resource from another agency was provided, at no charge, to help them fund the endowment.
